The site will be
monitored to ensure that a preventative and proactive approach is taken to
maintain a noxious weed free site and promote a successful reclamation as
desired.
Soil Fertilizer
With the aid of the CSU Extension Service, soil samples from the Fontanari mine
permit area were analyzed by Ward Laboratories. The sampling locations and
results are attached. The Ward Laboratories reports indicate that the soil within
the mine permit area is productive; and recommended the application of nitrogen
fertilizer to further enhance plant production. Nitrogen fertilizer shall be applied as
recommended by Ward at a rate of 60 lbs. per acre. Fertilizer shall be uniform in
composition, free flowing, suitable for application.
