<br /> Thank you for the opportunity to provide comments on the Colowyo Coal Mine(Permit No. C-1981-019)
<br /> Technical Revision No. 133 (TR-133). Colorado Parks and Wildlife has a statutory responsibility to
<br /> manage all wildlife species in Colorado. This responsibility is embraced and fulfilled through CPW's
<br /> mission to perpetuate the wildlife resources of Colorado and to provide sustainable outdoor recreation
<br /> opportunities that educate and inspire future generations. In coordination with many other efforts,we
<br /> fulfill this mission by responding to requests for comments on wildlife impact reports, land use actions,
<br /> and consultations.
<br /> Considering the applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently
<br /> approved for disturbance, CPW does not expect the proposed improvements to be detrimental to the
<br /> above wildlife populations.
<br /> Colorado Parks and Wildlife appreciates the opportunity to review this project and submit
<br /> recommendations to avoid and minimize impacts to wildlife. If there are any questions or needs for
