(Tri-State), is the parent company to <br /> Axial Basin Coal Company, which is the general partner to Colowyo Coal Company L.P. (Colowyo). <br /> Therefore, Tri-State on behalf of Colowyo is submitting this request to amend the SL-16 bond release <br /> application. <br /> Tri-State submitted the SL-16 bond release application on June 24, 2019, and applied for Phase I <br /> bond release on approximately 3 acres, Phase H bond release on approximately 83 acres within the East, <br /> Section 16, and South Taylor Pits, and Phase III bond release on approximately 5 acres that are permanent <br /> structures. The Division conducted the required bond release inspection on September 5, 2019. That <br /> being said,Tri-State respectfully requests to remove reclamation unit ST001 (44.8 acres applied for Phase <br /> II bond release and shown on Map 1)from the SL-16 application materials. <br /> Tri-State appreciates the Division's attention to this request.
