The inspection was completed by Harry Ranney of <br /> the Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety(the Division). No company representative was present <br /> for the inspection. The weather was partly cloudy with a temperature of 78 degrees F. The ground conditions <br /> were dry. <br /> The focus of the aerial was to inspect the North Decline and the Tract 70 Mesa. More information regarding the <br /> North Decline is in the Reclamation Success section of this report. There appeared to be no new activity on the <br /> Tract 70 Mesa by the land owner. The site was stable. CDOT work on the northern portion at the foot of the Tract <br /> 70 Mesa had progressed since the August 2019 inspection. Rock fencing was being installed at the foot of the <br /> mesa. <br /> Additional surface disturbances that were observed to be new are located on lands within Tract 71. A new <br /> disturbance to the south of the Borrow area was identified. No impact to the Borrow Area was observed. A <br /> second surface disturbance,reported in the Division's Augustt 2019 Inspection Report, is located to to west of the <br /> Carey Pit. No impact to mining reclamation in this area was identified. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The North Decline was vegetated and stable. There did not appear to be any new movement of the slough <br /> above the west diversion ditch. No erosional features were identified. <br /> The A Substation was stable and vegetated. There were no erosional features observed. <br /> The B Substation was vegetated and stable. No indications of erosional features were seen. <br /> The Borrow Area was vegetated and stable. There were no erosional features observed at the site. <br /> The Conveyor footprint had no indications of erosion or instability.
