SEP ZU19 <br /> Permit No. C-1981-019 <br /> Minor Revision No.206 DIVISION OF RECLAMATION <br /> Adequacy Response MINING AND SAFETY <br /> Dear Mr. Trujillo, <br /> Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association Inc. (Tri-State),is the parent company <br /> to Axial Basin Coal Company, which is the general partner to Colowyo Coal Company L.P. <br /> (Colowyo). Therefore, Tri-State on behalf of Colowyo is submitting this adequacy response for <br /> minor revision 206(MR-206)for Permit No. C-1981-019. Tri-State received your adequacy letter <br /> dated August 8,2019, and has prepared the following responses: <br /> 1. Please provide an updated map showing the location of the proposed road. <br /> Response: Map 22A has been updated with the road location as requested. <br /> 2. According to the Colorado State Land Board's letter to the Colowyo Mine, the proposed <br /> road is to be reclaimed when no longer necessary. Please provide the Division with <br /> additional information regarding the proposed road that would allow for a Reclamation <br /> Cost Estimate to be performed. <br /> Response: Exhibit 1 B in Volume 2A has been updated with a Colorado State Land <br /> Board Letter requesting the road be retained as a permanent structure post-mine. <br /> Therefore, there will not be any required reclamation liability. <br /> Also included with this adequacy response is another letter from the Colorado State Land <br /> Board requesting a temporary sediment control ditch be retained as a permanent structure post- <br /> mine.
