In addition to prohibiting irrigation within the
permit area, the Order appeared to also prohibit mining, process, shipping and other
activities on site. On July 26, the Board voted to approve a resolution which continued
the Cease and Desist as to defined irrigation activities. The Order is not yet in final form,
but did not prohibit the continuation of mining, processing and shipping activities in the
existing permit area.
