Mining and Safety <br /> Department of Natural Resources <br /> Memo <br /> Date: September 5, 2019 <br /> Tabetha Lynch,DBMS <br /> RE: Fruita Loadout; C-2010-088: Midterm No. 2 (MT2) <br /> Reclamation Cost Estimate (RCE) <br /> BONDING SUMMARY <br /> CAM-Colorado, LLC, was approved to use incremental bonding at the Fruita Loadout in <br /> accordance with Rules 3.02.1(5)(b) and (6) and was granted a bond reduction in accordance <br /> with Rule 3.02.2(5). Pursuant to Rule 3.02.2(3), Technical Revision No. 3 (TR3), approved <br /> 4/30/2015, allowed the operator to post the minimum statutorily required bond of <br /> $101000.00. A minimum of 30 days prior to the initiation of any disturbance at the site, <br /> CAM would post the appropriate bond for that disturbance increment. <br /> The Reclamation Cost Estimate was updated on 09/04/2019 utilizing CIRCES costs which <br /> were updated by the Division in July of 2019. This update did not add or remove any tasks <br /> from the RCE. The calculated liability for the Fruita Loadout for MT2 is $1,618,790.00 <br /> (RNI was $1,657,040.95).
