Gall mites (Aceria mahlerbae) to treat <br /> field bindweed will be obtained from the Colorado Department of Agriculture-Palisade Insectary. <br /> ' The insects will be allowed 2 -3 years to establish themselves in order to achieve optimum results. <br /> Should the biological control implemented to manage field bindweed be unsuccessful after 2 - 3 <br /> years, QuinStar 4L may be utilized to control/suppress the infestation (if needed). Quarterly <br /> ' inspections (at a minimum) will be conducted to monitor the effectiveness of all control methods. <br /> A summary of the use restrictions for the specific herbicide chemicals proposed is presented in <br /> ' Table 2. Copies of the herbicide labels for the proposed chemicals for use are presented in <br /> Appendix C. General herbicide chemical selection sheets are presented in Appendix D. <br />
