COLORADO <br /> Division of Reclamation, <br /> �.e Mining and Safety <br /> August 26, 2019 <br /> Joel Bolduc <br /> Aggregate Industries-WCR, Inc. <br /> 1687 Cole Boulevard, Suite 300 <br /> Golden, CO 80401 <br /> Re: Daniels Sand Pit 2, Permit M-1973-007-SG; <br /> Approval Succession of Operators, Revision SO-2, with Stipulations <br /> Dear Mr. Buldoc: <br /> On August 26, 2019, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) approved, with <br /> stipulations, the succession of operators (SO-02) from Continental Materials Corporation to <br /> Aggregate Industries-WCR, Inc. for this operation. Aggregate Industries-WCR, Inc. is now the <br /> permitted operator of the Daniels Sand Pit 2, and as such, is responsible for all provisions in M- <br /> 1973-007-SG, as well as those specified in the Rules and Regulations. Continental Materials <br /> Corporation is relieved of all responsibilities concerning this operation. <br /> The following stipulations need to be addressed through the submittal of a technical revision <br /> (TR) and requisite S216 fee within 60 days of the date of this letter(Note: specific requirements <br /> are outlined in Attachment A): <br /> A. The engineering evaluation provided on August 14, 2019 does not meet the DRMS criteria <br /> in Rule 6.5 and Section 30 of the Policies of The Mined Land Reclamation Board (MLRB <br /> Policies) for Factors of Safety for Slope Stab ility/Geotechnicai Analyses. Please provide <br /> slope stability geotechnical analyses for the four cross-sections shown in Attachment B <br /> meeting the MLRB policy under worst case mine plan conditions by the 60-day deadline. <br /> B. Please provide additional engineering evaluation information adjacent roads: Milton E <br /> Proby Pkwy, Bradley Road roundabout, Bradley Road, and Bradley Road and Cassidy <br /> Street. <br /> Please Note: <br /> 1. All of the application materials, as amended and supplemented, are in integral part of your <br /> permit. They have been incorporated into the permit by reference. We presume that you <br /> have a copy of all of these materials; therefore, none have been enclosed with this mailing. <br />
