• Compaction results for gob pile#3 has been provided. The location of the test
areas are located at the southwestern part of the gob pile. All relative compaction
meets or exceeds the minimum requirement by the Division. With that being said,
under the visual inspection report done by J.E. Stover& Associates, INC., it was
noted that the western and eastern end of gob pile #3 serve as drying areas for the
dumped material. It is unclear if material has been stockpiled, spread and
compacted on the eastern end of the gob pile #3 and if so, why no compaction
testing was done in the eastern area.
If you have questions, feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Zach Trujillo
Environmental Protection Specialist
(303) 866-3567 ext. 8164
Zach.Trujillogstate.co.us
2
