M <br /> Rg <br /> k, <br /> >ka+,'" ..7t.grin '�rlr ..t.! i•.� w <br /> f <br /> TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> As stated earlier,the primary focus of this inspection was topsoil depth verification with reclamation parcels <br /> associated with the Colowyo SL-16 Bond Release Application. A total of four reclamation parcels were inspected <br /> for topsoil depths (STOO 1, ST002, ST003 and EP058). Colowyo is approved for variable topsoil depth placement <br /> and as per Colowyo's PAP, "Topsoil will... ...be redistributed and graded to a variable replacement depth <br /> following the general rule of thin topsoil(<6)inches on ridge tops to gradually thicker topsoil moving down the <br /> slopes to the drainage bottoms for the grazingland land use targeted areas. Sagebrush Steppe areas will ideally <br /> receive an average of approximately 4 inches of topsoil that will likely be more uniform application to encourage <br /> proper seeding depth and overall shrub establishment conditions."All topsoil verification holes were dug to a <br /> minimum of 9 inches or until topsoil was no longer visible. Depths were dug larger than 9 inches when specified <br /> depth average was greater as stated under Section IV. of the SL-16 application.
