MINING PLAN
Exhibit C
The purpose of taking the step up to Exploration Phase was because the Claim is used for public digging.
It is a fee digging area. That is the reason for this upgrade.
This will give me the ability to manage the claim better and explore. The digging for the public will be
with hand tools. Mechanical machinery will be used to groom the area and make Exploration trenches.
The trenches will be 3 to 4 feet in depth and no deeper for safety reasons. Due to the problems of
keeping the public in the areas to dig I plan on enlarging the area to 4.4 acres next year. This has been
reflected in the State of Colorado's(this) paperwork. I will upgrade the BLM's paperwork next app.
period.
The barite being mined is not of high value. The lure is people can go somewhere and explore and
find mineral specimens of moderate value. This makes Hartsel a destination not just a drive through
town. Kids and parents have good family time together.
BLM has acknowledged the old mining trenches from the past. That is the reason top soil is not present.
13. a I will mine when frost leaves the ground in the spring until I freezes in the fall.
13. b I have included the plan I submitted to BLM. BLM acknowledges previous strip and trench
mining. Therefore the loss of the top soil. Plant species existence to area reflects the hotness
of the soil.
13.c&d Starts at surface and depth is unknown.
13.a See exhibit E map
13 f All within 4.4 acre
13. g everthing is pre existing. No changes needed
13. h no water use.
13. i ground water is 200 ft deep. Surface run oiunchanged.
13. j will not divert or impound the flow of rain water. Rain is only source of water.
13. k not app.
13. 1 upon reclamation of area grss and shrub seeding will take place see BLM plan.
Dave Harvey
