(BMRI)
"San Luis Project" (M-88-112) for the month of July 2019. Surface and groundwater monitoring and
analysis were completed for all the required sites during the month as specified in the TR-32 Quality
Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC)Plan.
Tailing Facility/Leak Detection System
In July 2019,the six lysimeters which are a part of the Lined Tailing Facility(LTF) leak detection system
were inspected and verified for proper vacuum and operation. As shown in Table 1, there was no pore
space water found to be present in any of the six lysimeter collection pans, therefore, no sampling or
laboratory analysis was required.
Table 1—Monthly Lysimeter Monitoring
L simeter Identification Observation Date Depth to Water feet
LS 1 R2 07/31/2019 DRY
LS2R2 07/31/2019 DRY
LS3 07/31/2019 DRY
LD I R2 07/31/2019 DRY
LD2R2 07/31/2019 DRY
LD3 07/31/2019 DRY
The ten piezometers located on the tailing impoundment main embankment were inspected and measured
for depth to water.
