COLORADO <br /> Division of Reclamation, <br /> Mining aiaid Safety <br /> 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br /> Denver, CO 80203 <br /> 9 August 2019 <br /> Miranda Kawcak <br /> Moffat County Mining,LLC. <br /> 29515 Routt County Road#27 <br /> Oak Creek,CO 80467 <br /> RE: Williams Fork Mines; C-1981044:Bond Release No. 4 (SL4)Adequacy Review <br /> Dear Ms. Kawcak: <br /> The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining,and Safety (The Division), has reviewed the SL4 bond release <br /> application and performed the requisite inspection on the above referenced permitting action. The Division <br /> received Moffat County Mining's Phase I,II and III bond release application SL 14,on 25 January 2019,and found the <br /> application complete on 5 February 2019,after the Division received proof of publication of the applicant's public notice. <br /> The completeness determination was made in accordance with Section 3.03.2(1)(d). <br /> Moffat County Mining published notice of the bond release application in the Craig Daily Press once weekly for four <br /> consecutive weeks,beginning on 28 December 2018. Moffat County Mining also notified landowners within and <br /> adjacent to the mine permit area,and other interested parties,of the application for bond release,as required by Section <br /> 3.03.2(1). DBMS and other interested parties took part in the bond release inspection conducted on 25 June 2019 by <br /> DRMS. Subsequently, inspection reports were issued on 8 and 9 July 2019 by The Office of Surface Mining(OSM), <br /> and DRMS,respectively. Several concerns preventing a decision to release the areas requested were identified <br /> during the inspection.
