john Crowley<johnnygotrox@comcast.net> 4/19/2019 1:04 PM
Structural Agreement
To crystal.sanchez aU_ccele ergy.com
Crystal Sanchez April 19, 2019
Excel Energy
RE: Structural Agreement
Hello Crystal,
My name is John Crowley, ian agent for Michael Royer, who owns a mining claim where Excels power lines cross it.
Pursuant to rule 6.3.12 from the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Hard Rock/Metal Mining Rule,We would
like a notarized letter,on utility letterhead, stating that the mining activity we are proposing will have"no negative
effect"on your utility. This is regards to the power poles for your 115KV transmission line. It is their rule that we must
obtain this letter for any structure within 200ft of our activity.
I have attached their form as well as drawings and maps of the area where we intend to excavate. Our application
shows an intent to excavate several 30'x40'x10ft deep pits. Two of these pits will reach within but NO CLOSER than
75 ft. of the base of your poles. These pits are only open for a very short while and are back filled usually within 48
hours of excavating. The site is approx. 1.5 miles north of Lake George Co. in the national Forest. Gps units are
provided on the drawing for location purposes. If you need additional information please let me know.
As you can see from the drawings your poles and our area is in weathered granite and bedrock granite. The elevation
of the two sites is very si 'lar with only a 2 ft difference. As a geologist I can assure you that there is absolutely 0%
chance of any negative ef lect on your property due to the distance of the excavation and the geology of the bedrock.
There will be no traffic ne ryour poles and the operation will only last for 2-3 weeks.
I thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. We are in a bit of a time crunch and would appreciate a reply
as soon as you can. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you soon. Please feel free to contact me
by email or phone.
Sincerely,
John Crowley
JOHN CROWLEY
382 MCARTHUR DR
LONE TREE, CO 80124
303-601-3534
• Igpd2 power pole.p df(699 KB)
• Igpd2power pole 2,pdf(3 MB)
^
/DSte ' T
