'
L.G. Everist Combined SYY6P Page11 ofl6
March 14' 201O
1[mb8e 5
X G Everi t Reusable Storage Supplies Summary
Swingle North Star Water Resource* Total
2018
2019
~*mi|xh|c ux |o,c with[i.}.vadk, |'ncg) xa..urco,. 1] [
Releases of replacement water will be made at or above the point of the downstream calling
right. A 15 hp pump is installed on site at the Swingle North Reservoir that is capable of discharging into
Little Dry Creek. Also a totalizing meter that measures only water coming from Swingle North Reservoir
is installed at the pump. The discharge point from the pump at Single North Reservoir is just east of the
center ofSection 35' Township 2 North, Range 67 West, of the 6 m P.M. This location is approximately 4
miles tothe South Platte River. Atransit loss nfO.5O percent per mite summer transit loss and 0.25
percent per mile winter transit loss wilt be assessed to the releases from Swingle North Reservoir to the
South Platte River.
Releases from the Swingle North Reservoir to replace depletions on the Saint Vrain Creek
(approximately 15 mites upstream of the reservoir and the Saint Vrain Creek confluence with the South
Platte River) wilt be assessed a transit loss of0.50 percent per mile summer transit loss and 0.25
percent per mite winter transit toss. The transit loss percentages are subject Lo change depending upon
current conditions. If transit losses change they wilt be communicated by the Division Engineer via email
to the Division One CaU List. The applicant shall obtain prior permission from the District 2 and 5
Water Commissioners when making releases from these reservoirs. Credit will not be given to any
releases not measured and recorded to the satisfaction of the District 2 and 5 Water Commissioners
or Division Engineer.
The Applicant is also seeking the possibility to use future storage water in Parker'Panovvicz
Reservoir or Everis[ Reservoir No. 1. The intent would be to use devvaterinO pumping that would result in
excess credits in the river that is not needed as a credit to replace other depletions. Column 14 of Table
1U and column 12 of Table 12 illustrate months with dewatering excess credits. These values assume 100
percent call throughout the year. The actual amount of excess credits that may be stored during the
SYVSP' would be contingent on actual dcvvatering that occurs as part of mining operations, need for
credits and call situation. The Parker'Pannwicz Reservoir's slurry wall liner was approved by our office on
February5' 2014. The reservoir is part of the Aurora'Everist Reservoir (VVD|D 0203087) decreed for
storage in case no. 2002CYV330. This reservoir is close to being fully reclaimed and has the capability of
storing water. Currently there is no water in storage however the Applicant is requesting use of this site
as a replacement supply for the SYVSP should water be physically delivered into the reservoir during the
SVVSP period. As mentioned above Everis[ Reservoir No. 1 was lined and has storage rights decreed in
case no. 2013CVY3080. The water delivered to the Parker-Panowicz Reservoir and/or Everist
Reservoir No. i during the period of this SWSP may not be used for augmentation purposes or uses
associated with the mining operation in this SVVSP' until such time as the Applicant installs and
maintains measuring devices as required by the water commissioner and the division engineer for
the operation of this SW8P' In addition the reservoir accounting must be approved by the division
engineer prior to the operation of these reservoirs.
