RECLAMATION PLAN EXHIBIT D
1. General Reclamation Plan
The total area of the permit is 9.98 acres. The access road will be left in place at the end of the
mine per the request of the landowner. All other areas will be reclaimed into General
Agriculture.
2. Haul Roads and Access
The site will utilize existing roads, those roads will remain at completion.
3. Reclamation Timetable
There is no reclamation time table since the post mine use is General Agriculture.
4. Revegetation Plan
Post mine reclamation use is General Agriculture.
5. Post-Reclamation Site Drainage
The site will contain a 100-year 24 hour event. Once Mining Area 1 is removed, the unreclaimed
portions of the site would again be vulnerable to erosion. For this reason, the outside edge of the
perimeter of the site will have an 18-inch-high berm of approximately 61-1:1 V slope left in place
to ensure that no disturbed area runoff leaves the site in the final reclamation stage.
This stormwater containment berm will hold back the water producing a shallow pool. This pool
will quickly dissipate into the pit floor. No drainages enter the site, meaning a diversion ditch
will not be needed. A small area in relation to the total mining area(the southwest portion)will
be allowed to drain into the reclaimed area, but the size of the pit floor will be able to allow
infiltration. Stormwater will sheet flow down the side slopes (3H:1V) across the pit floor and
pool behind the stormwater berm. This berm will be left in place due to its shallow slopes and
minimal height.
6. Weed Control
Measures will be employed for the control of any noxious weed species. Control measures will
also be used if the growth of weed species on the reclaimed area threatens further spread of the
weeds to nearby areas. A Weed Control Plan will be utilized as follows:
