EXHIBIT B—SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The proposed Farm Road Source is located 8 miles North West of the City of Montrose.The site, <br /> in relation to the City of Montrose, is shown on Exhibit A.The mining area will be located <br /> within a large tract of land owned by Blain Klett and Jona Williams. The site is bordered by <br /> private property land owners on all sides. The proposed mine is a part of a 282-acre tract of <br /> land. <br /> The topography within the permit area slopes gently down toward the north east. The permit <br /> boundary is shown on Map C-1 and the entire permit area is 9.98 acres.The site is a dry terrace <br /> gravel knob with very little soil and vegetation. The gravel deposit is approximately 25 feet <br /> thick and overlays the Mancos Shale. The property is currently accessed through the proposed <br /> mine site by an existing road. The proposed mine site will use the existing road for its operations <br /> and access off of the property. The trucks hauling off the property will access Montrose County <br /> Road 5875. <br /> The site will be reclaimed to a land use of general agriculture. The topography of the reclaimed <br /> land is shown on Map C3. <br />
