The <br /> Division proposes to release reclamation liability in the amount of$858,015.48 for the 175.3 acre SL 18 <br /> bond release block. This amount is not greater than 60% of the applicable bond for these bond release <br /> parcels in accordance with Rule 3.03.1(2)(a). The remaining reclamation liability following the approval <br /> of SL18 will be $21,989,935.35, ($22,847,950.83 - $858,015.48). <br /> Trapper Mining, Inc. did not request a return of bond monies with the SL18 bond release application. <br /> However, should Trapper Mining, Inc. reduce its bond by $858,015.48, the remaining bond amount of <br /> $211989193 5.3 5 (Performance bond held— SL 18 proposed reduction in liability), would be sufficient to <br /> complete the remaining reclamation work at the site if the work had to be performed by the Division; this <br /> includes the cost of reestablishing vegetation on any revegetated areas, should those areas fail. <br /> Any person with a valid legal interest which might be adversely affected by this proposed decision may <br /> request a formal public hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board in accordance with Rule 3.03. <br /> 2(6). Public notice of this proposed decision will be published in the Craig Daily Press once a week for <br /> two consecutive weeks as soon as possible. Requests for public hearing must be submitted to the Division <br /> in writing within 30 days of the first publication.
