The Collom Temporary Spoil Pile continues to be constructed as the initial box cut to the Collom Pit is progressing. FISH and WILDLIFE—Rule 4.18: Small groups of pronghorn were seen across the site. HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: The following ponds were inspected to be dry or with minimal water and no discharge: Gulch A, Prospect,West Pit, Sidehill, Section 26, Section 25 and Middle Pond. The following ponds were inspected to be discharge with no issues observed. East Taylor, Section 36 and West Taylor. At the time of the inspection,the Streeter Pond was in the process of being cleaned. The cleaning activities were not occurring during the inspection. Sediment was pulled from the pond and being staged along perimeter of the pond where it was being allowed to dry. The staging and maintenance area was completely encompassed by an elevated berm. All the staged material was placed where all water leaving the sediment drained back into the pond. No issues were observed. The entirety of the Final East Pit Ditch was inspected. Water flowing through the middle and lower portion of the ditch and pumping was occurring in EP 1 and EP2. The ditch was stable and well armored with no issues observed. Ditches NTEP, East Taylor, Taylor Trib., D-1,D-2,D-3, D-4 and D-6 were all inspected with no issues observed.
