LL L <br /> Land ow,iership within the current Deserado Mine permit boundary is limited to <br /> the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Blue Mountain Energy, Inc. The BLM <br /> participates in the review of permit revisions, mid-term reviews, and permit <br /> renewals through the SMCRA permitting process. The Bureau of Land <br /> Management also oversees the Federal Environmental Assessment (EA) process <br /> when proposed mining activities have the potential for impacting BLM lands and <br /> federally owned resources. Comments and input are collected and incorporated <br /> into the approved permit to mine and coal leases secured by Blue Mountain <br /> Energy, Inc. — Deserado Mine prior to mining.
