The LBA seeks to add 2,462 acres of land immediately north <br /> and northwest of GCCE's existing federal lease and mine operations.The BLM and Office of Surface <br /> Mining Reclamation and Enforcement(OSMRE)have jointly prepared a preliminary environmental <br /> assessment(EA)to analyze the potential impacts of leasing and mining the federal coal. <br /> BLM and OSMRE initiated a 30-day public review period starting on July 05,2019 to receive comments on <br /> the preliminary EA. The BLM is also holding a public hearing to receive public comments on the fair <br /> market value and maximum economic recovery of the federal coal in the LBA,and on the preliminary EA, <br /> Wednesday,July 24 from b to 8 pm at the BLM Tres Rios Field Office,29211 Highway 184,Dolores,CO <br /> 81323.An information session on the project and EA will also be held on that day from 5 to 6 pm at the <br /> same location. Continents may be submitted verbally at the hearing,otherwise they must be submitted <br /> electronically through BLM's ePlanning website at https�'eo.usa,ggv xEKTV and must be received by <br /> August 5,2019. <br /> By including your address,phone number,email address,or other personally identifying information in your <br /> comment,you should be aware that your entire comment,including your personally identifying information, <br /> may be made publically available at any time.
