Homestake Mining Company June 17,2019 Regular(112d)Operation Reclamation Permit Application Package HMC plans to complete the following key reclamation activities: • 2019 Construction Season: Sediment Pond Improvements; Water Treatment Plant Demolition; North Pit East Diversion Ditch; South Pit Landslide Slope Mitigation; and South Pit East Diversion Ditch. • 2020 Construction Season: North Pit and South Pit Landslide Crest Mitigation; Sandstone and Limestone Quarry reclamation; and Shop Building, Fuel Storage and Equipment inventory. • 2023 Construction Season: North Pit Northwest Pit Wall Layback, Partial Pit Backfill, French Drain and Southeast Pit Wall Buttress; and IRD Sericite Stockpile and Low Point Mitigation. • 2024 Construction Season: Haul and Access Road Mitigation; and Disposal & Repository Cell. • 2019 through 2058: Water Management O&M. Stockpiling and Material Handling. The SRCE model was developed assuming the following borrow sources: • Riprap material for the North Pit and South Pit East Diversion Channels would be borrowed from the Northwest Pit Wall Layback. • Compacted Fill for the North Pit Partial Pit Backfill and Southeast Pit Wall Buttress would be borrowed from the Northwest Pit Wall Layback. • Cover material for the North Pit Partial Pit Backfill and Southeast Pit Wall Buttress would be borrowed from the IRD Sericite Stockpile and the Landslide Crest Mitigation cover stockpile. 4.1.7. Mobilization and Demobilization. The SRCE model assumed that the mobilization and demobilization provided for the establishment of the site includes mobilization of construction equipment, labor, materials, and temporary facilities including the setting up of temporary facilities including field offices,temporary utilities and services, as well as all other related activities and administration and overhead cost relative to site establishment. Four mobilizations and demobilizations were assumed at $150,000 each, based on the construction schedule presented in Section 4.1.6 (Schedule). Costs for these were incorporated into the"Cost Summary"worksheet within the SRCE model, as part of"Earthwork/Recontouring". 4.1.8. EPCM and CQA. The SRCE model assumed that the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) and Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) provided for the detailed and Issued for Construction (IFC)design and drawings, along with specifications, construction management and quality assurance required during four construction seasons. 4.2.
