Homestake Mining Company June 17,2019
Regular(112d)Operation Reclamation Permit Application Package
derived from technical specifications (where available) or from productivities
demonstrated on Nevada mine reclamation projects.
• The compositions and productivities of crews included in the SRCE calculations are
derived from the RSMeans Heavy Construction Data (RSMeans, 2006). These are used
to calculate task-specific unit rates utilizing labor, equipment, and material rates defined
for the project.
• For specific activities that were not able to be estimated within the standard framework of
the SRCE model, the 2018 RSMeans Heavy Construction Costs (RSMeans, 2018) was
also used to estimate labor, material, and equipment costs.
3.3. SRCE Framework
Many of the activities associated with reclamation of each OU were structured to fit within the
framework of the standard SRCE category worksheets, and generally required multiple SRCE
categories. The following standard SRCE category worksheets were used to account for planned
reclamation activities, as shown in Table 3-1, which include costs for the associated labor,
equipment, and materials.
Table 3-1.
