T <br /> PERMIT#:M-2006-00� <br /> INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: DMC <br /> INSPECTION DATE:June 5,2019 <br /> OBSERVATIONS <br /> This inspection was conducted as part of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety's (Division) normal <br /> monitoring program.A representative for the operator was not present. Photographs are included with this report <br /> in order to illustrate some of the conditions observed. <br /> The Russell Ranch Pit is located approximately three miles southeast of Meeker and accessed from CR79. The <br /> site is a 110c operation that includes a total of 9.9 permitted acres. The Division currently holds a financial <br /> warranty amount of$47,400.00 for this site. The Division has reviewed the reclamation costs, in order to ensure <br /> the financial warranty reflects the actual current cost of fulfilling the requirements of the Reclamation Plan, and <br /> determined that the current financial warranty amount is sufficient. <br /> Adequate mine identification signage was not noted at the entrance to the site. This has been noted as a problem. <br /> The operator shall post a sign at the entrance to the site that includes the name of the operation and the permit <br /> number, in accordance with the requirements of Rule 3.1.12(1). <br /> The affected area was marked by posts that were clearly visible and adequate to delineate the affected area <br /> boundary. <br /> Nearly the entire permit area has been disturbed by the operation. Highwalls roughly 20-30 feet in heighteai <br /> I H:1 V slope surround the pit. Materials stockpiles are located throughout the pit.
