Mining will commence in the summer/fall of 2019 in the east portion of the buffer zone of the approximately I 0 -acre permitted area and
progress west as needed. A 40 -foot buffer zone separates the river bank and the area of operation. A I 0 -foot buffer zone separates the
western permit boundary from the operations boundary area. The permit
2. Mining will begin by dozing the approximately 0.5 -feet of top soils to the edges of the 40 -foot buffer to create a berm and protect the
operations area. The top soil will be used during the reclamation phase.
3. Upon clearing the approximate 0.5 -feet of topsoil, mining of usable soils will begin to the aproximate lines and grades shown in this drawing.
Cheyenne County will take great care durnig excavation to not extend the excavation beyond the buffer zone.
4. The extent of the sand and gravel to be mined is undetermined until Cheyenne County starts excavating the permit area. The grades and
depth of the excavation area are approximate and could change depending on the site conditions during excavation.
5. The full mining plan 15 included in Exhibit C of the Mining Application.
Reclamation Plan
I . Once final excavation grades are met in the excavation area, top soils will be placed over the excavated area to begin the reclamation phase
Set #5 Rebar and of the miring process.
Cap PLS 23902 2.
