EXHIBIT B <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> (a) Attached general soil map from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation <br /> Service shows the soil characteristics for the area of the proposed operation in S24 T16 <br /> R43 (Exhibit B, Attachment A). The soil type, Haverson loam is detailed below. <br /> Haverson Series <br /> The Haverson series consists of deep,well drained soils on level and nearly level stream <br /> terraces and flood plains. These soils formed in mixed alluvium. Slope is 0-1 percent. <br /> The average annual precipitation is 13 to 17 inches. <br /> Haverson soils are near Satanta, Bankard, Glenberg, and Fort Collins soils. Satanta soils <br /> have a mollic surface layer. Satanta and Fort Collins soils have an argillic horizon. <br /> Bankard and Glenberg soils have more sand throughout than the Haverson soils. <br /> Haverson soils are fine-loamyh, mixed(calcareous), mesic Ustic Torrifluvents. <br /> The Haverson loam description from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service <br /> Web Soil Survey is outlined in the Exhibit B, Attachment A. <br /> (b) There are no permanent man-made structures within 200 feet of the proposed <br /> operation area. <br /> (c) The attached map and data from the local United States Department of Agriculture <br /> Natural Resource Conservation District office shows the water resources for the <br /> proposed operation area(Exhibit B, Attachment B). The White Woman Creek passes <br /> nearby the proposed area and is dry. <br /> (d) Wildlife statement prepared by the Colorado Division of Wildlife not required. <br />
