The inspection started with a records check at the <br />Garfield County Courthouse in Glenwood Springs followed by a ground inspection of the site. The weather was <br />clear with temperatures around eighty degrees during the inspection and ground conditions were dry. Coal Ridge <br />Mine is currently inactive and no mine represtative accompanied the inspection. Mr. Nick Arnott, on behalf of the <br />landowner, attended the inspection. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS – Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />The Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine’s compliance records are at the Garfield County Courthouse in Glenwood Springs, <br />Colorado. There are records in need of updating for compliance. Please see the Division’s Availability of Records <br />form at the end of this inspection report for more details. <br /> <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br />A new gate has been installed at the entrance to the site. The gate is locked to help prevent trespassing to the area.
