6.3.4 Exhibit D <br /> Reclamation Plan <br /> The current use of the property is for grazing land. The site will be reclaimed back to grazing <br /> land. There is approximately 4 feet of overburden on the site that will be used to restore the site <br /> to its current use. Topsoil will be removed and stored for reclamation purposes. <br /> Reclamation will occur once all mining has been completed. Final grade will blend with the <br /> surrounding topography. Topsoil will be replaced at a depth of 6 inches. Overburden will be <br /> located directly at the mining site and will be put directly back into the reclamation area. There <br /> will be no hauling required. This will be used to backfill the affected 2-acre area to blend the <br /> final grade to surrounding topography. <br /> Reclamation of the vegetated areas will follow the Fremont County Soil Conservation District's <br /> recommended seed mix. The seed mix will be drilled at a 7"-12" spacing and at a rate of 5.8 <br /> pounds per acre. Fremont Paving and Redi Mix, Inc. will disc the area and then seed through <br /> drilling. Straw mulch will be crimped in at a rate of approximately 2 tons per acre. <br /> Fremont will preserve all plant growth medium onsite using a loader. All topsoil onsite will also <br /> be preserved. It is anticipated that the preserved topsoil onsite will be sufficient to meet the 6- <br /> inch depth necessary for reclamation. All internal haul roads will be fully reclaimed. <br /> In the event noxious weeds appear, they will be managed mechanically as directed by the <br /> Fremont County Weed Management Director and allowed by the property owner. <br />
