RULE 4 PERFORMANCE STANDARDS <br />r <br />,.ire•nr Coloraau 81641 <br />1102% 824-451 <br />COMPANY — <br />May 2, 1983 <br />Mr. Dan Mathews, Reclamation Specialist <br />Mired Land Reclamation Division <br />423 Centenrial Building <br />1311 Sherman Street <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Dear Mr. Mathews: <br />The following information and plans are submitted to comply with <br />Stipulation No. 1 included in Colowyo's Mining Permit No. C-019-81. <br />Enclosed is a surface water monitoring and well monitoring local'^n map, <br />Water Monitoring Sites For Permit No. C-019-81 (Map 37). <br />As stated during the application process, Colowyo will submit to <br />the M.L.R.D. an annual report containing all of the data obtainei from <br />these and all other required monitoring and sarrolino programs. The first <br />annual report will be for the period January 1, 1983 throuch December 31, <br />1983 and will be submitted by April 1, 1984. <br />Water Monitoring Plan <br />The following plan is submitted to satisfy Stipulatiosi ;o. 1 and <br />also includes the complete Surface stater Monitoring Plan. <br />1. Sediment Ponds - There are currently three existing sedir;•ent <br />ponds, with valid N.P.O.E.S. Permits, contr:iliing runoff from <br />disturbed areas at the mine and loadout site. A fourth pond -s <br />planned to be constructed and is shown as Pt. 004 on Water <br />Monitoring Sites For Permit No. C-019-81 (Mar, 37). A ccoy of <br />Coiowyo's N.P.O.E.S.
