<br />Dear Sir or Madam:
<br />
<br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve a renewal
<br />application for coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by Blue
<br />Mountain Energy, Inc on January 30, 2019 for the Deserado Mine. In accordance with Rule
<br />2.08.5(3)(b) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for
<br />Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed decision.
<br />
<br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request
<br />a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication
<br />of the public notice by the Division in the Rio Blanco Herald-Times.
<br />
<br />The underground mine is located approximately 7 miles Northeast of Rangely, Colorado. The
<br />permit area is further described as follows:

<br />Portions of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11, and 12, T2N, R101W, 6th PM, all in Rio Blanco County;
<br />Portions of Sections 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 34, 35, and 36, T3N, R101W, 6th
<br />PM; All of Sections 22, 29, 32, and 33, T3N, R101W, 6th PM, all in Rio Blanco County.

<br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the
<br />above address and at the Town Clerk, 209 East Main, Rangely, CO 81648. A Copy of the
<br />Division's “Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance” is available at Moffat County Clerk
<br />and Recorder, 221 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625; Rio Blanco County Clerk and Recorder, 500
<br />Main Street, Meeker, CO 81641 and at the Division offices.
