The MPO was originally <br /> received on January 28, 2019 by the South Park Ranger District and has since undergone a <br /> completeness review. I appreciate your updated submission of a revised MPO on April 2, 2019, <br /> via email,which addressed the Forest Service's concerns and included the requested information. <br /> It is my determination that the revised LGPD#2 Mine Plan of Operations MPO received on April <br /> 2, 2019,covers the requirements of the regulations (36 CFR 228.4(c)) and will be added to the <br /> Forest's program of work. An interdisciplinary (ID)team will be assigned to analyze and <br /> disclose the environmental impacts from the proposed activity, as required under the National <br /> Environmental Policy Act(NEPA). This analysis will include the consideration of comments <br /> solicited from the public and from other cooperating agencies. Following completion of the <br /> NEPA analysis,you may either appeal and/or accept any mitigations the Forest deems necessary <br /> to minimize adverse impacts, in addition to posting an acceptable reclamation bond in <br /> accordance with 36 CFR 228.13. <br /> As a reminder, you are responsible for obtaining any other regulatory agency permits necessary <br /> for the proposed activity. <br /> Please keep a copy of this letter for your records. <br /> If you have further questions,please contact Amy Titterington, Geologist, at 719-836-2031 or <br /> email her at amyjtitterington(j�fs.fed.us. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> JOSHUA S.
