3/28 riverine communities, monitor the river for a period of five years after the completion of work. The monitoring shall include the success rate of plantings, stability of the river in relation to the new structures, observation of bank stabilization, and assessment of fish and other aquatic organism population. By December 1 of each year you shall submit a report discussing the work that has been completed within the river and monitoring observation of the items mentioned above. The report can be in narrative format with photos of problem areas and can be submitted to the Durango Office via a-mail. 4) You shall insure that your project does not increase the flood stage or water level elevation for Wolf Creek or the San Juan River. 5) The Durango Regulatory Office must be notified of the start and completion dates for each phase of the work. 6) As-built plans, as well as pre-and post-construction photographs, must be provided to the Durango Regulatory Office within 90 days of completion of each phase of the restoration work. You must sign and return the enclosed Compliance Certification to this office within 30 days after completion of the work. This verification is valid for two years from the date of this letter, or until the Nationwide Permit is modified or expires, whichever comes first. The Nationwide Permit is scheduled to expire on March 18, 2007. It is incumbent upon you to remain informed about changes to the Nationwide Permit Program.
