Qualifications of Preparers <br /> Mr. Dean Misantoni <br /> Dean Misantoni is a certified professional geologist in good standing (CPG#11276) with both a <br /> B.S. and M.S. in geology. He has over 35 years' experience as mining geologist, much of it in <br /> central Colorado, where he resides. During this time he has been involved in numerous <br /> geotechnical studies relating to rock quality. Several of these studies involve the same lithologies <br /> (Idaho Springs Fm.) as is present at the Elk Creek Quarry site and his knowledge of the Idaho <br /> Springs Fm. is gathered from years of experience at mining operations where this formation <br /> occurs. <br /> Mr. Ben Langenfeld <br /> Mr. Langenfeld is a mining engineer with over a decade of experience in mine design, <br /> permitting, evaluation, and planning. He has evaluated the geologic and geotechnical data on <br /> numerous mining operations including coal, hard rock, alluvium, and vein metals. He received <br /> his Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 2007.
