Montano the new owner of certain
real property located in Huerfano County, Colorado, commonly known as the Spanish Peaks
Ranch. We recently received a copy of your July 18, 2016 correspondence to Mr. Craig J.
Walker,Trustee of the Craig J. Walker Revocable Trust. Our client Ronald B.Montano acquired
the real property that the gravel pit is located on, on June 30, 2016. Mr. Montano is actually the
second owner removed of the property as Mr. Walker lost the real property through bankruptcy
proceedings on April 27,2016.
We would like to learn more about the gravel pit permit and are very interested in
maintaining the pit. We respectfully request a thirty (30) day extension so that we might learn
more about the pit, its location, permitted use, etc. In the alternative, we are prepared to pay the
2016 Annual Fee and complete transfer paperwork within fifteen (15) days of this letter if
agreeable to the Division. This would give us the remainder of 2016 to learn more about the
permit.
Please respond with your answer at your earliest convenience via email at
jbower@bannerbower.com. I may be reached on my direct line at (719)406-0046 to answer any
questions you may have.
ds,
Jos D. Bower,Esq.
