The inspection <br />was conducted aerially by Harry Raney and the images analyzed and the report prepared by me, Robin Reilley of <br />the DRMS. No mine representative was present as this was an aerial inspection. Main haul roads appeared in <br />good repair, no hydrologic or air quality issues were detected. Snow remains on site especially on north facing <br />slopes, shaded and timbered areas. Snowmelt appeard underway. The day appeared to hve high cumulus clouds. <br /> <br />INSPECTION: <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />Main haul roads and access roads appeared dry. No offsite air quality issues or hydrologic impacts were <br />observed at the time of inspection. Reclamation stable and in good condition. <br /> <br /> <br />ROADS Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and <br />Maintenance 4.03.1(5)and (6) 4.03.2(5) and (6). <br />o Roads in and around the facilities appeared accessible with most snow free. <br />o No rutted areas, or standing ice were noted in the imagery. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE- Rule 4.05 <br />General Requirements 4.05.1; Effluent Standards 4.05.2; Divergence and Conveyance of Overland <br />Flow 4.05.3; Diversions 4.05.4; Sediment Control Measures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7; <br />Impoundments 4.05.9; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Underground Mine Entry 4.05.10; Surface <br />and Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13;Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> <br />o Reconstructed drainages were visible and appeared to vbe functioning adequately. <br />o No pond discharge was noted in the imagery. <br />o Ponds, as viewed form above, appeared free of snow and ice cover.
