2. Loading of the low-grade ore into tarped and placarded highway hall trucks for
transport to an approved off-site processing site.
3. Transport of the low-grade ore back into the mine workings using low-profile haulage
trucks and/or load-haul-dump units (LHDs) and placement of this material above the
water table.
4. Covering of the low-grade ore with 12 to 18 inches of on-site development rock that
contains less than 500 PPM uranium.
This TR plan applies to all of the Sunday Group Mines, although only the Sunday Mine
currently has a low-grade stockpile on site, which does contain some areas that exceed
500 ppm uranium. PRM has elected to implement Corrective Action No. 4 (see above)
for the Sunday Low-Grade Stockpile and provides specific details in the TR as to how this
cover will be installed and the methods used to verify that the cover meets the TR
requirements.
In addition to the TR, we have enclosed a completed Mineral Technical Revision Request
Form and a check made to the Colorado Office of Mined Land Reclamation for$1,006.00.
Please contact me at (435) 459-1354 or mrutter western-uranium.com should you have
questions or need additional information.
Sincerely,
PINON RIDGE MINING LLC
Mike Rutter
Vice President, Operations
attachments
CC: James Blair, Bureau of Land Management
2
