Boye, L. Colby, Z. Felkey, K. Blake
• Jofree Duran
• - TR 113—Leach Study_Cell
This document summarizes the geotechnical evaluation of the proposed leach study cell (cell)that
is planned to be located at the Arequa Gulch Valley Leach Facility(AGVLF).
The proposed cell will be staked to the 10,165 ft elevation, and will have a lift height that varies from
2 ft at the southern edge to 35 ft at the northern edge. It will be lined to allow the collection of
leached solution (see Figures 1 and 2).
The cell will have a minimum set back of 20 ft from the edge of the existing bench. The bench
below the cell has a bench width that varies from 115 ft in the section where the cell has a height of
2 ft, and 257 ft in the section where the cell has a height of 35 ft.
The ore material to be placed in the proposed study cell is composed by hard ore with similar
strength properties of the crushed ore and given the geometry of the cell, it's limited height, and it's
location on the AGVLF, the proposed cell is considered stable.
