EXHIBIT B <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> COUNTY: Prowers <br /> OPERATOR: Castle Rock Construction Co.of Colorado,LLC <br /> 1. The area designated within the pit limits is currently hilly rangeland used for livestock <br /> grazing only. <br /> 2. Soils on the grass land are ridge top typical of Prowers County and are classified as <br /> Kandrix loam and Travessilla Sandy Loam <br /> 3. Topsoil is 4 inches, silty sandy M-L, CL type by Unified Soil Classification. <br /> 4. The soil beneath the overburden is sandy which will be used as fill embankment. The <br /> soil will be removed to a 8-12' depth from the Easterly facing excavation. <br /> 5. Clumps of natural grasses including blue gama, buffalo grass and western wheatgrass <br /> exist along with weedy vegetation. The proposed pit area is very sparsely vegetated. <br /> 6. The existing slopes vary in slope but generally are 4:1 slope. The final slopes will be <br /> reclaimed to a condition of 4:1 or flatter. <br /> 7. Vertical pit walls will not be necessary. <br /> 8. Structures <br /> a. There are not structures within 200' of the borrow location other than a dirt <br /> access road which is covered by the Lease Agreement. <br />
