6. Dredge is being used to pick up small rock, dirt and water through a 4' long
sluice box. This is a one man operation it's good for samples. We will not
be using the pulverizer on the N.O.I.
Add on to question # 6
Dredge is used to help deliver test samples to the sluice box after it's done
inside the dredge sluice box there will be the findings to your samples. Water
being moved through dredger goes right back into the stream. How the sluice
box works, water washes the dirt and rocks through the sluice box in the
dredger. The water gets filtered through the grass or sod or settling hole,
which could be 5' in diameter up to 12' in diameter about 4' to 5' in depth.
The water we used go right back to the stream through either of the filtering
methods. The water takes about 5 minutes to run through and return back to
the stream where it come from. When we are recycling water through the
dredger the dredge only uses about 55gallon. The water then gets recycled
through grass or sod then back to the stream.
