ARCOSA
rates shown in the table are rates that assume the use of a seed drill. In those areas where hydro
seeding or broadcast seeding are required, the seeding rate will be increased by at least 50 percent
for flat lying areas and 75 percent for slopes. Seeding in each case will occur between November 1 and
April 30 when the ground is not frozen. The seeded areas will be irrigated if climate conditions warrant.
A Noxious Weed Management Plan has been developed and incorporated at the site. The plan is
included as Attachment 1.
The land owner has requested that an access road to the quarry bottom be left in place for his future
use. Consequently, our final reclamation map shown as Exhibit F, reflects access per his request. This
road will also serve to facilitate access to the area for final reclamation maintenance and monitoring.
Table E.1 Revegetation Mix
SPECIES VARIETY %MIX POUNDS PLS/AC(DRILLED)
western wheatgrass Arriba 40 6.4
green needlegrass Lodorm 15 1.5
sideoats grama Vaughn/Butte 15 1.4
blue gramma Lovington 10 0.3
little bluestem Pastura 10 0.7
indian ricegrass Paloma 10 1.3
100%
Includes 0.5 lb.
