Aerial photos were taken on March 25, 2019 at 11:50
am by Harry Ranney. Brock Bowles reviewed the aerial photos. The weather appears to be sunny because of the
clear shadows cast by objects.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10;
Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13;
Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
Pond 2 contained two small puddles of water (photo 1). The pond was not discharging because it can be
seen that the water was not up to the level of the discharge structure.
The irrigation pivot is at about the 2 o’clock position from North (photo 1) which is the same position it was in
during the last inspection.
The diesel water pump is in the spill containment device at Pond NH1.

GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE:
Both access gates were closed. The office trailer, water tank and shovel are located by the south gate (photo 1).
It appears that there hasn’t been any reclamation or farming activity on the mine site. All the equipment is in the
same location as it was during the last inspection.
There are areas of standing water around the perimeter of the minesite and the access roads look wet in some areas
(photo 2). From an aerial perspective, it appears that the soil is too wet for reclamation/farming work.

ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE

No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending.
