The mine is a reclaimed underground <br />mine, that currently consists of a perennial mine discharge and water development system. No mine personnel <br />remain on site. The forest service road to the site is not maintained in the winter months. The actual site was <br />inaccessible. Approximately 2-3 feet of snow remains on the forest service road. There have been high <br />incidences of avalanches throughout the state in March. The inspector was uncomfortable accessing the site on <br />foot due to the current back country avalanche danger. <br /> <br />An aerial inspection is scheduled for some time during this month. <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS – Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />Records are stored at the Garfield County Courthouse in Glenwood Springs. Records were checked and notes <br />included in the Availability of Records form in this report. <br /> <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> The mine site is inaccessible due to snow cover on the public roadway.
