The Division determined that mining ended on or <br /> around March 12 , 2014 and reclamation should be completed by March <br /> 12 , 2019 . In November 2017 we believed reclamation was proceeding <br /> as planned and the backfilling and seeding would be complete on <br /> time. We missed this timetable due to the lack of material . <br /> The only part of the North Expansion area needing reclaiming <br /> is the old tailings, pond area in the northeast quadrant of the <br /> area, 12 . 70± acres . In approved plans, this area is to be filled <br /> back to an level close tho the neighboring property and to allow a <br /> level graded along Brighton Road. The material was to come from <br /> other parts of the permit area if the northern ponds were developed <br /> as a Water Storage Facility. This was not done, so clean dirt <br /> being delivered to the Inert Fill Facility is being diverted to the <br /> old tailing pond area to backfill it . This is taking place still <br /> because the clean dirt needed has not been available in sufficient <br /> quantities to reach the final grade by March 2019 . At this time we <br /> have approximately 750 of the fill needed to reach final grade and <br /> find it necessary to ask for 2 additional years to complete <br /> reclamation on the old silt pond area shown on the attached map. <br /> We believe that by March 12 , 2021 the final grading, shaping and <br /> seeding can be completed. <br /> The Technical Revision form and a check to cover the <br /> Technical Revision fee of $216 . 00 are attached.
