Permit: C1981-010
Sediment Pond Inspections DRMS Review 2018 Quarter 4

Dear Ms. Perkins:

Thank you for your prompt submittal of the Trappers quarterly pond inspections. The Colorado Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety (The Division) has reviewed the above referenced report detailing capacity data
and inspection observations received by the Division on 8 January 2019. Four new sediment ponds were
constructed in 2018:
1. Deal #2
2. Deacon #1
3. Deacon #2
4. Jeffway #1.
Inspections were conducted by TMI on 6 and 18 November 2018.

This report appears to be in compliance with the applicable sections of Rules 4.05.9. Discharging ponds comprised
the:

o No Name system o Johnson Gulch system o East Pyeatt System

discharging at a rate of less than 1 cubic foot/ second. Other than sediment markers for new ponds, no maintenance
items were identified. It appears to DRMS that Deal #1 pond and the Horse pond are bumping up to the 60% sediment
capacity.

Kind Regards,
Robin Reilley, M.S.
