The revision was submitted by Bowie Resources, LLC. All review and <br />comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br /> <br />Bowie Resources LLC is no longer producing coal waste material from the wash plant. As a <br />result, Gob pile #3 will not obtain the previously permitted design. BRL proposes a construction <br />design for Gob Pile #3 that accounts the volume of coal waste material available. The applicant is <br />not proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. <br /> <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 5 miles Northeast of <br />Paonia, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />Portions of Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, and 22, Township 13 South, Range 91 West <br />of the 6th P.M. Portions of Sections 33 and 34, Township 12 South, Range 91 West of the 6th <br />P.M. <br /> <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map(s): Bowie. <br />
