6. Reclamation <br />Unless the Division approves retention of the Lincoln Street Haul Road as part of the postmining <br />land use, the road will be reclaimed in accordance with 4.03.1(7) after it is no longer needed. <br />M. Access Roads <br />Under the definition of Access Road provided in Section 1.04 of the Rules, there are no access <br />roads within the permit area.. <br />N. Light -Use Roads <br />Under the definition of Light -Use Road provided in Section 1.04 of the Rules, there are no light - <br />use roads within the permit area. <br />O. County Roads (January 2016 - No Longer Appficable: Roads Rebuilt) <br />Mining and reclamation activities will be conducted within 100 feet of current public roads. <br />However, when blasting or any other mining activities which could create a potential safety <br />hazard are occurring, public access will be prevented and traffic will bypass the specific work <br />area while such activity is being conducted. These activities will be sequenced in a manner to <br />allow public travel through the area on other public roads in the immediate vicinity. <br />1. BB Detour Road <br />As part of the mining operation, portions of BB Road and 2700 Road will be disrupted. Both of <br />these roads are considered collector roads and are administered by Montrose County. Temporary <br />access will be provided by installing a detour along the northern edge of the mining area, which <br />will connect back to 2700 Road north of the mining area. The plan profile for this detour is <br />shown on Map 2.05.3(3)-9 and the cross sections of the road are shown at 100 feet intervals on <br />Map 2.05.3(3)-10. <br />The timing of the relocation and the restoration is given in Table 2.05.3-10-3. The best location <br />for the main detour was north of the proposed operation and immediately south of Tuttle Draw. <br />Map 2.05.3(3)-9 shows the detour road plan view, which will provide access for all users north <br />of the site along 2700 Road to and from Nucla. A special access turnout has been provided for <br />the Reeder and Garrett properties. Since the intersection of 2700 Road and BB Road (Sunshine <br />Ranch Corner) will also be removed, all existing users west on BB Road must be provided new <br />access.
