Jason Tuttle
1/18/2019
Maintenance work conducted during the 41h quarter included spreading and compacting
refuse on 5a. Thirteen compaction tests were performed this quarter, all of the test results
produced proctor values above 90 percent. There were no indications of seepage or any
indications of slope failure. The slopes of the piles are stable and only some localized
erosion has occurred. The surface drainage facilities are properly conveying surface
runoff from the refuse bank areas.
This concludes the Division's review of the 41h Quarter 2018 Professional Certification of
the Coal Processing Waste Banks for the Deserado Mine.
