Res onset All system components are designed for a peak system flow of 375gpm (0.84 cfs).
The inlet pipe will be a short, exposed section of the buried water transfer pipeline which will have grouted footer
stones on either side, with the end of the pipe resting on the cascade crest stone. As shown in the detail drawing
(Drawing C-11 — Sheet 15 of 15), the cascade system will be keyed into the slope at the top and bottom, with a
geotextile base, graded rock bedding, and sized footer stones, which overlap on their downgradient edge for
support. System flow will be as noted above, and precipitation flows will be minimal, with essentially all runoff,
except direct precipitation on the system, being captured and diverted by the north and south diversion ditches.
12. Please provide side slope ratios and spillway crest elevations for each of the system spillways.
Response: The drawings reflect 5:H:1 V slopes (based on scale). Note that water levels within the individual
cells will be controlled by the AquaDrain structures. Spillway crest elevations (from drawings) are;
Cell 1 (Embankment/WOut) — 6,828.5'/6,827.5'/6,826.0'
Cell 2 (Embankment/In/Out) — 6,812.0'/6,811.0'/6,809.5'
Cell 3 (Embankment/In/Out) — 6,796.0'/6,795'/6,794.0'
Cell 4 (Embankment/In/Out) — 6,784.5'/6,783.0'/6,782.5'
13. Please provide Sed CAD for treatment system diversion ditches, curve numbers, acreage of the
drainage specifying what portion will go to the north and south ditch, and design as per
4.05.3(7).
Response: The revised SedCAD runs for the new Passive Treatment System location accompany these responses
for replacement in Exhibit 49EE.
