2.03.12 Newspaper Advertisement <br />CAM -Colorado, LLC, 743 Horizon Court, Suite 201, Grand Junction, CO 81506, has submitted a <br />complete application for a technical revision to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety for <br />its Fruita Loadout, mining permit No. C-2010-088. The proposed revision will make an <br />incidental permit boundary revision, add a subsurface ownership map, update adjacent <br />landowner information and update the list of officers in the permit. <br />The spur track and loadout are located south of State Highway 6 & 50, north of Interstate 70 and <br />west of the old Fruita Refinery. The City of Fruita lies approximately 3.0 miles east of the proposed <br />spur track and loadout. Reed Wash runs through the central portion of the proposed permit <br />boundary. Loma Drain runs through the western edge of the permit boundary. The proposed mine <br />permit area is located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Mack Quadrangle map within the <br />following sections. <br />Township 1 North, Range 3 West, Ute P.M. <br />Section 2: Portions of the SW/4, W/2SW/4SE/4 <br />Section 3: Portions of the SE/4 <br />Section 10: Portions of the N/2NE/4 <br />Section 11: Portions of the N/2NW/4, N/2NE/4, SE/4NE/4 <br />Containing 208.6 acres more or less <br />The proposed Fruita Loadout permit boundary contains 208.6 acres of land that is all located on <br />private surface. CAM -Colorado, LLC owns 201.3 acres, the Union Pacific Railroad owns 5.3 acres <br />and Fruita Development LLC owns 2.0 acres. The minerals within the proposed permit area are <br />owned by the respective private surface owners. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Mesa County Clerk <br />and Recorder's office, 200 S Spruce St., Grand Junction, CO., and at the offices of the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining & Safety, 1313 Sherman St., Room 215, Denver, CO, 80203, (303) 866-3567. <br />Written comments, objections, or a request for an informal conference on the application may be <br />submitted to and additional information may be obtained from the Division of Reclamation, Mining & <br />Safety at the above address and must be received by the Division within 30 days after the last publication <br />for this notice. <br />MR -01 2.03-13 09/14 <br />
